The objective of our lesson program is to introduce students to diving safety and FUNdamentals. Students will learn diving safety, correct body alignment, jumping technique, head-first entry, and spatial coordination in a dry-land setting, water skills, and on 1-meter & 3-meter springboards. Students must be comfortable swimming in deep water without the use of a life-jacket. All students are required to participate in West Michigan Aquabatics home meets when opportunities are available.
Our Team Training program is designed for athletes wishing to prepare for their high school diving program, prepare for a collegiate diving program, and/or to develop Junior Olympic competitive dive lists on 1-meter & 3-meter springboard. Athletes are required to train 2-5 days per week and compete in all Michigan Diving Association competitions. Additional meet opportunities are available to those who wish to participate at the Regional, Zone, and National level.
Do you need some extra time on the boards or in the belts on dry-board or trampoline? This is the perfect solution! We can accommodate up to 4 divers per WMA coach and we work specifically to help you fine tune your dives or work towards your goal dives. In addition, we encourage you to bring your team coach with so they can participate in the process.
Small Group Clinics include:
individualized belt training
video analysis/review
working towards goals
Available for those who require independent training schedules to work on specific dive groups, goal dives, and improve technique.
